Who made it: Claes Oldenberg and Coosje van Bruggen produced it in 1993 before the National Lottery, Oldenberg had an imagination was the history of captain of cook. It's so big, which soars nearly thirty-five feet above the city of Middlesbrough
How much payed: They commission got payed £135,000 by the gorvenment, back in the days was a lot of money just for a such thing but each person got they hands dirty to do this hard work eventually got payed £5,000. your might not think it is a lot of money but it was back then and to be honest they did an excellent job.
Opinion: I think it is such a nice art-work and i hope they could think of something like this all the time. The bottles of notes will always be remembered, its like a souvenir which people will never forget about, we always going to tell our kids,grand-kids etc because it is a such good thing for the community. i do think it is a good feeling because a lot of places got what represent where they're from and we've got ours which it is quite imaginable and its a stain nobody can wipe this off its phemonemal.
